At Next-Gen Buildings LLC, construction is more than our trade — it’s our calling. Founded in 2024 by family members with a shared vision, our company was built on the belief that people deserve more than cookie-cutter structures and stressful building experiences. We set out to create a construction company that delivers not only better buildings but also better relationships, built on trust and clear communication.
Owner Devon Mast and the Next-Gen team bring over 20 years of combined experience in residential, agricultural, and commercial construction. Through those years, we’ve seen what works, what fails, and what truly matters to clients. That knowledge shaped our approach: a detailed planning and bidding process that eliminates surprises, keeps projects on track, and gives our clients confidence at every stage.
Based in Sullivan, Illinois, we proudly serve communities across Central Illinois, including Effingham, Pana, Taylorville, Paris, Shelbyville, and Assumption. From custom home building and barndominiums to pole barns and design/build projects, our work reflects the values we live by: craftsmanship, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
